When we started Nobilis Care, we looked at the poor quality service provided by many agencies, and decided to be very, very different. Most agencies we reviewed provided extremely basic services - feeding, washing and light housework. We were determined to go beyond what we felt were the minimum levels of service expected by our clients.
We do this in two ways:
1. By specialising in specific "condition areas", such as dementia care, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke care and palliative care
2. By investing in the best staff and their continued training and development.
Our approach has enabled us to offer the most comprehensive and high quality service, tailored to our client's needs, in the region. Whether you are looking for high quality but low level assistance, whilst your relatives get used to the idea of having some help, or a more heavily involved service, working closely alongside doctors and district nurses for support with serious medical conditions, Nobilis have a made commitment to giving you the care you need.

Domiciliary
Home care is sometimes called domiciliary care or home help. It is when a support worker visits you or someone you care for in their own home to give them help and support with the daily tasks.
Domiciliary care can involve all manner of activities including:

Personal Care
We work hard to match the right support worker to best support each client but all our support workers can take care of your personal care needs with dignity and respect.
Personal care can include :-

Changing/emptying catheter bags

Anything else that involves a more hands-on approach
The amount of support you need dictates the amount of support you receive. Our support workers can pop in for just half an hour once a week to regular morning and evening calls to help them up in a morning and to bed at night, longer weekend calls to provide respite to the main carer, indeed any support you or they may need for as long as they need it.
Specific Medical Needs
Whilst we do not employ registered nurses, many of our support workers have come from a nursing background and by working very closely with doctors and district nurses we can support clients with serious or specific medical conditions.
